Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

In accordance with Australian student visa requirements, all international students and their dependants must maintain valid Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their stay in Australia.

 

OSHC helps cover medical costs such as hospital treatment, certain medications, and emergency ambulance services. Students must arrange OSHC prior to arrival in Australia and maintain continuous cover for the full visa period.

 

The Institute can assist with arranging OSHC through an approved provider. Students may also choose their own provider, provided the policy meets visa requirements. Evidence of OSHC must be provided upon acceptance of your Letter of Offer.

 

Please note that OSHC generally does not cover pre-existing conditions or services such as dental and optical care.

 

OSHC Refunds

Requests for OSHC refunds must be made directly with your OSHC provider and are subject to the provider’s terms and conditions.
